Well, this is one poorly-timed concert. A venue in Boise, Idaho has a marquee that reads “Explosions In The Sky Concert Sept. 11,” which is promoting the band’s upcoming show. The concert, of course, takes place on the tenth anniversary of the World Trade Center attacks.
The band has, not surprisingly, had to deal with 9/11-related questions in the past. They released their second album Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Live Forever, in late August 2001, just before the attacks.
You can view the band’s upcoming tour dates here.
