Escape The Fate add new guitarist, rejoined by Max Green

After the whirlwind of statements flying around yesterday about Escape The Fate’s Monte Money leaving the band and foregoing touring life, ETF is finally back to a whole unit.

It has been confirmed that Kevin Thrasher, formerly of LoveHateHero, will be playing lead guitar. The band have also been rejoined by their original bassist Max Green, who was away in the first half of 2011 due to addiction problems.

We shall see if this line-up works out well and if the guys can keep it together.

The band stated:
Escape The Fate welcomes back bassist Max Green into the band’s touring fold along with new guitarist Kevin Thrasher, substituting for Monte Money, who has decided to step away from life on the road for now. The two join singer Craig Mabbitt and drummer Robert Ortiz to fill out the group.

Max Green had this to say regarding ETF:

I’m feeling great and am glad to be back with my band. Escape The Fate is my life. This is where I belong.

This band is plagued with a curse that seems to compel members to leave. What’s up with that? And FiR is having a little trouble with this too, with Mika leaving. They are both amazing bands but all this just holds them back.
