Brian May joins My Chemical Romance onstage at Reading Festival

My Chemical Romance’s fans have been expressing their approval and excitement regarding the band’s headlining performance yesterday at Reading Festival. My Chemical Romance’s set list was, for the most part, the same as it’s been for the band’s run on the Honda Civic Tour so far, except with a few exciting changes. Aside from the set list, another unexpected change in the usual set was Queen guitarist Brian May joining the band onstage for their encore. May first performed Queen’s “We Will Rock You” with the band, then continued into My Chemical Romance’s “Welcome To The Black Parade.” My Chemical Romance have vocalized how big of an influence Queen has been to them, and so Brian May’s appearance obviously meant a lot to the band. Guitarist Ray Toro still seems to be shocked; “Wow did this really happen????” he said on his Twitter, linking to a video of the performance. Click through to watch the video of this awesome encore!
