The BMI Urband Awards took place at the Pantages Theater, last night, in Hollywood, California. Drake managed to take the songwriter of the year award, while legend Snoop Dogg was honored with the BMI Urban Icon award.
Polow Da Don, Kane Beatz, R. Kelly and Kanye West were named Top Producers and B.o.B. was crowned youngest songwriter ever to win the BMI Urban Song of the Year, for his single “Nothing On You,” featuring Bruno Mars.
