Iggy Pop postpones US tour due to broken bones

Punk legend Iggy Pop had sustained two breaks in his left foot, which has forced Iggy And The Stooges to postpone their impending US tour.

Iggy broke his bones at the group’s show at the Peninsula Festival in Romania on August 27. He was told by doctors that he must allow 6 to 8 weeks for recovery time,
which means they have to push the US tour aside for the moment.

NME reported that Iggy has stated:
“I hate this, I hate like hell to cancel or postpone anything. I only saw the doctor because it hurt so fucking much and I couldn’t fix it myself. Please be patient, I am so excited about these dates on the left coast.”
