Electric Six to Release New Album

Electric Six will be releasing their eighth studio album Heartbeats and Brainwaves on October 11 via Metropolis Records.

“I’ve always said that all we need is for each guy in this band to write two songs a year and we have another new album.” says frontman Dick Valentine. The ‘two song per member’ plan worked again as Heartbeats and Brainwaves returns to the heavy synth dance rock much like recognizable Electric Six classics such as “Gay Bar” and “Danger (High Voltage)”.

The band will also be setting out on the road this weekend on their “Hello, Destructor!!!!” tour. View the dates after the jump.
