BREAKING NEWS: Take It Back! Announce Breakup, Still Touring With A Plea For Purging

Facedown Records’ Take It Back! have announced plans to split after six years of making music together. Their final tour will take place in November alongside A Plea For Purging (dates can be found here).

In a post on their Facebook, the group wrote “After nearly 6 years, we are calling it quits. We have made tons of friends and met a lot of great people along the way. This was a tough decision to make, but we all collectivley feel like it’s time write the final chapter (tour) of Take It Back! We want to thank anyone who ever came to a show, bought merch, a cd, a record, etc. You can catch us one last time on tour this November supporting our Doo Doo Dudes in A Plea For Purging Official. We will also have a handful of dates in December, and eventually a final show in January. So please come out to these shows and help us go out on top of our mediocre existense. But serisouly thank you to all of our friends, family, Jason and Virginia Dunn, and fans for all of the continued support through the years. Be on the lookout for the Facedown Fall/Winter sampler; there might be a couple final Take It Back! songs on there. Thanks again everyone!”

We at UTG wish all the members the best of luck in the future. If you can, please see the band on their final run. They will be missed.
