Cause of Death For Warrant’s Jani Lane

Jani Lane singer of 80’s glam rock group Warrant was found in a Los Angeles motel room on August 11. There was no specific cause of death at the time. Although he was found with a half empty of liquor and a bottle of prescription drugs. It was known that Lane did indeed suffer from drug and alcohol abuse problems.

Officials announced yesterday that he died from acute alcohol poisoning.
