Indie fans have been following T.I. West’s The Innkeepers since its’ very first festival screening, but it wasn’t until last night that the majority of us got our very first look at the long-hyped follow-up to House Of The Devil. That’s okay though, from the looks of things the wait has been entirely worth it.
According to the synopsis, “After over one hundred years of service, The Yankee Pedlar Inn is shutting its doors for good. The last remaining employees – Claire (Paxton) and Luke (Healy) – are determined to uncover proof of what many believe to be one of New England’s most haunted hotels. As the Inn’s final days draw near, odd guests check in as the pair of minimum wage “ghost hunters” begin to experience strange and alarming events that may ultimately cause them to be mere footnotes in the hotel’s long unexplained history.”
The Innkeepers come to VOD at the end of the year, but the rest of us will have to wait until February to see it on the silver screen. Stay tuned for additional trailers, clips, and features in the coming weeks and be sure to let us know your thoughts on the preview in the comments.
