RZA Claims Eddie Griffin And Tracy Morgan Want To Play Ol’ Dirty Bastard in Biopic

This has the potential to be the greatest movie development of the year, but it could go wrong.

According to XXL, Wu-Tang’s RZA recently revealed in an interview that comedians Eddie Griffin (Undercover Brother) and Tracy Morgan (30 Rock) have expressed interest in portraying the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard in a forthcoming biopic that is currently being penned by RZA’s cousin Raeshawn.

XXL asked the rapper which actor currently had an edge. “Eddie spent time with Dirty,” he shared. “They knew each other well.”

While we can respect RZA’s desire, especially given the reasoning, UTG would like to suggest they go with Tracy Morgan instead. If there is one role he was born to play and hasn’t, this is it.

The film is obviously still in very early stages of production, but we will continue to keep you posted as it develops. Comment below and let UTG know who you would cast as the one and only ODB.
