Rumors have been swirling that pop rockers The Dangerous Summer had pretty much imploded just before they were to embark on a fall tour with Hit The Lights. Nasty comments were made, fans claimed they were crying on social networks, and a whole lot of blogs got some much needed traffic.
Turns out, it’s not true.
Yesterday, The Dangerous Summer announced a slew of upcoming tour dates in Australia. After fans were surprised by the announcement, especially considering some sites reported the band losing members, member Cody Payne took to Twitter. After one fan said she was “going crazy” with all the drama and thus, “couldn’t deal,” Payne replied:
“…how about you just stop believing the rumors and continue letting the dangerous summer be a band. no one left.”
Another fan reached out inquiring about comments made from the vocalist of Hit The Lights regarding the band’s split. Payne replied:
“…i have never talked to the guy. not sure why he would tell people stories that aren’t true.”
