UTG PHOTOS: New Found Glory (11/1/2011)

Every show Under the Gun has sent me to cover in the last week has been somehow even better than the last, and the insanely talented lineup for the Pop Punk’s Not Dead Tour at House of Blues in Cleveland, headlined by pop punk veterans New Found Glory, was no exception.

Every single band on this tour is crazy talented and puts on a  tireless set, complete with plenty of jumps, kicks, and other mid-air tricks.  The show opened with This Time Next Year, followed by Man Overboard, and The Wonder Years.  Set Your Goals played fourth in the lineup, creating chaos through vast amounts crowd surfing and a massive mosh pit during crowd favorite “Wake The Dead.”

Finally, New Found Glory took the stage, beginning their set with older hits as well as songs off Radiosurgery, their newest album released October 4 on Epitaph Records.  After an impressive set, they wrapped up the show with “My Friends Over You” sending the sweat-soaked, inexhaustible crowd into more jumping, dancing, moshing, and crowd surfing.
