Nicki Minaj Announces New Album, Release Date

Nicki Minaj took to Twitter this week to let fans know that the wait for new music is almost over. In fact, it is coming much sooner than you probably thought.

On Tuesday (November 22), Minaj tweeted “Pink Friday : ROMAN RELOADED will be released on Valentines Day, 2012. Heeeee’s baaaacccckkkkk.” The post was followed by hundreds of retweets, but left many details up in the air. Would this be a new record? A deluxe edition of her debut (Pink Friday)? an EP? Something else entirely?

Minaj returned the micro-blogging site yesterday (November 23) to clear up confusion, tweeting “”Pink Friday: ROMAN RELAODED” | Valentines Day| 2012 | Not a Re-Release | ALL new tracks | YMCMB | *salutes the nation*”

Word on the blogosphere is that Minaj may release the record’s lead single before the end of 2011. UTG is keeping a close eye on this story and will bring you any and all updates as they surface.
