Peabody’s in Cleveland, OH feels like a second home to me. It’s where I often find myself multiple times a week & this venue features the most diverse and entertaining bands that come through Cleveland. So Tuesday, November 22nd, after getting stuck in horrible traffic and another rainstorm, I found myself venturing to Cleveland for the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour, with Abandon All Ships, For The Fallen Dreams, I See Stars, iwrestledabearonce, and Of Mice & Men. I was fortunate enough to catch Of Mice & Men’s epic set at Vans Warped Tour this past summer, & was in for a new treat from the rest of the bands on this tour.

I See Stars took the stage with lots of energy and charisma. They have toured relentlessly over the last year, solidifying their stage presence and creating a connection with the crowd that is personal no matter where you’re watching in the venue. I See Stars dazzled with hits off their current album, End Of The World Party, as well as their 2009 debut, 3D.

Next up, was iwrestledabearonce, the electro-metal group from Louisiana. This was the most unique set of the night, both in sound & lighting. Between screams from captivating lead singer Krysta, and frequently utilized strobe lights, the crowd was treated to an exceptional set from a group that has more energy emanating from within than I can keep up with. Their current album, Ruining It For Everybody, was the focal point of the set and surpassed all expectations.

Last and most anticipated of the night was Of Mice & Men. Playing to a packed venue, mere hours after lead singer Austin Carlile was released from a Cleveland hospital for the treatment of a poisonous spider bite, everyone was relieved and thankful to have him healthy & well enough to perform. And he put on a crazy show, full of energy and vigor. Of Mice & Men played hits off The Flood, which was released on June 14.  Their hits “OG Loko” & “Ohio Is On Fire” were cause for much moshing, crowd surfing, and stage diving from the wild crowd. They ended the set with the astounding “Second & Sebring.” Overall, the show was amazing, be sure to check out the photos below for all the fun from the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour!
