It has been a long while since D’Angelo hit the stage, but today we learned ladies will be fainting once again much sooner than expected.
Though he has been relatively quiet as far as new music is concerned, D’Angelo has announced three performances for 2012: London’s Brixton Academy on 3 February, Paris’s Le Zénith on 29 January, and Amsterdam’s Paradiso on 31 January. Tickets for the London concert are still available.
Legal issues and money troubles have long delayed the release of D’Angelo’s third studio album, but word of these shows gives hope that it will reach fans sometime next year. We are keeping a close eye on this story and will bring you any developments as they arise.
