When released, the collaborative album from Lou Reed and Metallica was, to put it lightly, hated by pretty much everyone in the music industry. Today, thanks to Darren Aronofsky, Lulu gets just the tiniest bit better.
“The View” is the first official video released from the troubled rock pairing, but that is not what was supposed to happen. When Loutallica met with Darren Aronofsky last month, the plan was to shoot a video for Iced Honey,” but for some unknown reason they decided to shoot something for “The View” instead. Not that it matters, both songs are equally horrible, but apparently Aronofsky felt more strongly about this one. You can view the visuals (on mute, if desired) after the jump.
