Months after we first got a look at next year’s contender for worst idea put on the silver screen, a brand new trailer Battleship has surfaced online.

In our latest clip of Peter Berg’s best Michael Bay impression, a shit ton of things explode, yet nothing at all catches our interest. You see a lot of the alien ships, but still no creatures, and shots of every celebrity whose quota the producers were somehow able to meet (oh, and Rihanna). You can view this noisy, CGI-filled trainwreck after the jump.

Thankfully, most the proposed board game adaptations in recent years have been abandoned by studios. From the looks of it, Battleship probably only made the cut because the story almost completely abandons the one-sentence storyline of the game in lieu of something out of this world (IE: space creatures!). Regardless, it still looks just plain awful.
