Verse Reunite, Announce First Show Back, Plan 2012 Appearances In US And Abroad

New England hardcore act VERSE have announced they are reforming and (in our own words) tackling the world once more in 2012.

Originally disbanding in 2009, Verse announced their reformation earlier today on Bridge9’s official website. VERSE vocalist Sean Murphy commented, “I think it just really came down to us missing playing music and the chemistry we shared in our creative process. Things just got a little crazy in our lives at home, with being on tour all the time, having all this weight to carry and people to keep happy. It really ended up burning us out. We needed some time to step away and focus on having some sort of stability for a while.”

The group’s first show back will be February 11th at AS220 in Providence alongside Defeater, Soul Control and Sweet Jesus. From there, they have plans to appear at Belgian music festival Groezrock in April of 2012, as well as tours in Europe and along the West Coast.

Details for all these events is sure to be pouring in over the next few weeks. Stay tuned to UTG for updates, announcements, and more as it becomes available. Until then, click past the jump and remember what makes Verse so great.
