Columbia Records Sign Breathe Carolina

Breathe Carolina have had enormous radio success with their new single “Blackout” and many people have taken notice, including Columbia Records. Today, the Denver Post reported that the duo of David Schmitt and Kyle Even signed to the major label. Congratulations to the guys!

Included in the article, it was stated Breathe Carolina will be spending 10 days in California, in early January, to write and record new material. Get ready for more BC!

Here’s what the duo had to say in regards to their recent single blowing up: “I know it’s being played, and I know the number, but I don’t physically feel it yet. We’ve heard it in Dallas and a couple other places, and we turn it up and blast it. I feel more like a proud parent than anything else. That song is living its life. And now it’s getting time for the next song, the next kid, and we’ll help it get on its way.”
