Goreship pioneers Impending Doom have announced their much anticipated new album will be titled Baptized in Filth.

Set for release March 13, Baptized In Filth was produced by Andreas Magnusson (The Black Dahlia Murder) and Machine. It is the group’s fourth full length and promises to be their “most ferocious” to date.

Impending Doom guitarist Cory Johnson had this to say about the record:

“We’re proud to say that after many months of working on the new record it’s finally done. This is by far our favorite material to date and we can’t wait to share it with everyone and hit the road!! March 13th 2012 the world will be Baptized In Filth!”

Impending Doom has also confirmed for this years Metal Alliance Tour along side acts like Devildriver, Job For a Cowboy and Dying Fetus. Not your crowd? Don’t fret. Impending Doom will also be playing select dates on this years VANS Warped tour this summer.
