Opening Credits: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

David Fincher’s  The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo has gotten a lot of buzz and some rave reviews.  With an amazing script, spot on acting, and a veteran director, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is easily one of the best films of the year. Yet, it wasn’t the movie that seemed to be the first thing most people wanted to talk about after seeing it, it was the opening title sequence and now you can watch it here in full HD quality after the jump.

Set to an amazing Trent Reznor produced cover of the classic Led Zeppelin “Immigrant Song”, the title sequence for TGWTDT is a modern industrial nightmare, and something you truly watch and are in awe of. You’re not quite sure exactly what you’ve seen, but you know it was powerful and you know that whatever movie you’re about to see is going to take you on a ride you will not soon forget. After I witnessed it I looked over to my date, saw that her jaw was also halfway to the floor, and said “What did I just see?”. She didn’t have an answer for me, but we both agreed that it was the greatest title sequence we’d ever witnessed.

Without being in the theater you will not get the full effect, but watch it below and sound off in the comments section about what you thought. And please, please, do not watch this on your smart phone, at least give it the honor of a decent sized screen and a decent set of headphones. You will not regret it.
