2012 has already had its fair share of reunions and breakups, but none will be quite as nasty as this.

Rapper/producer/label boss/ Luther Campbell was promoting a short film at Sundance this weekend when he revealed controversial hip hop collective 2 Live Crew are to reunite in 2012 to tour (and possibly more).

When asked for more details, Campbell reportedly offered:

We’re going to perform the songs and everybody’s going to be excited. Some of the older people of our generation will be able to tell their kids, ‘You’re staying home tonight, we’re going to see 2 Live Crew and shake our booty!’”
