Basement to Release New Song ‘Whole’ at Midnight

Ipswich, UK punks Basement announced that they will be releasing a new song ‘Whole’ tonight on BBC’s Maida Vale show at Midnight in the UK, which is at 7PM EST for those of us stateside. The band recorded four live songs for the show, and the new song ‘Whole’ will be played for the first time ever. Basement released their debut full length I Wish I Could Stay Here this past Summer of 2011 on Run For Cover Records, and they have tentative plans to record another album later this year.

Check out a video promoting tonight’s session as well as a statement from the band. Let UTG know if you’re excited about this, as well as what you think of Basement’s new record.
