Mastodon have revealed the full routing for their upcoming Spring headlining tour with Opeth and Ghost.

Before we get to the dates, let me just take a second to clarify the need for each and every single one of you to attend this tour.

First and foremost, Mastodon and Opeth are the kind of bands your favorite bands wish they could be. They set the curve for their individual subgenres of metal and command the stage with unrelenting force.

Secondly, and possibly the real story of this tour, GHOST. Hailing from Sweden, this band of costumed metalheads hail the dark lord, shred as if they fell out of the late 70’s, and cover The Beatles “Here Comes The Sun” while terrifying at least 80% of the audience with the dark atmosphere they create. I was fortunate to catch them in Boston last week having only heard of their legend and left a fan. You need to see them to believe them, but it is definitely worth your time.
