The Wonder Years to Play New Album in its Entirety

The Wonder Years announced that they will be playing their newest release Suburbia: I’ve Given You All and Now I’m Nothing on two dates of the Glamour Kills Tour that they are headlining. The band sold out their New York City and Philadelphia dates insanely fast, so they decided to add two more shows in those cities where they will be playing their new album from front to back with other songs as well (which I can imagine would be played during an encore of sorts). The NYC date is on March 10 and they will be playing an afternoon show before the sold-out show that night. Philadelphia’s second date is on April 19, the day before the sold-out date.

As someone who saw The Wonder Years play the Upsides front to back, I must say it’s a truly fun experience seeing your favorite band play an album front to back. It really gives you an entirely new way of thinking about a record.

Check out the statement from the band below as well as other , and let us know if you’re hitting up any of these dates! I’ll be at Philadelphia cause let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want to see The Wonder Years on their home turf?

Holy Shit! Since the Philly and NYC shows of the GK tour have already sold out, we decided to add second shows to both. But not just second shows. Here’s the twist (Shyamalan!): we’re going to be playing Suburbia straight though (plus other assorted hits) at both of these shows. Stay tuned for ticket info. Philly is going to be April 19th. NYC is going to be earlier in the day on March 10th.
