Absolutepunk is reporting that they can confirm rumors that Matt Geise (Lower Definition) and Kurt Travis (A Lot Like Birds, ex-Dance Gavin Dance) will be filling in for Dance Gavin Dance on the band’s upcoming tour with A Lot Like Birds and Just Like Vinyl.
The news, which was confirmed just a short while ago, follows a morning full of developments surrounding Jonny Craig. Anyone reading the site right now has surely seem the news and we do not wish to add any further fire to the drama, but we hope Jonny finds the help he needs. Soon.
You can view the full routing for Dance Gavin Dance’s upcoming tour after the jump. If you can go, please do. These guys are just like you, screwed over by Jonny, only their careers are affected as the result of his choices. Go out and show them how important the music of DGD continues to be.
Shoutout to POZ for the picture.

First time i saw DGD live was at the glasshouse and Kurt was singing for the Squash The Beef tour…now I get to see ALLB and him sing with Matt in DGD?? I’m with it…i Love Jonny’s voice, and wish him the best in finding the right path towards sobriety, But I’m still stoked for the show on the 17th
I like Kurt, but it really sucks the way Jonny has gone so downhill. If anyone wants to discuss this, I wrote a little commentary here: http://theairspace.net/events/jonnycraigheroin/
