Metalocalypse Co-Creator Announces Brendon Small’s GALAKTIKON

Metalocalypse Co-Creator Brendon Smalls have been musically quiet since the release of Dethalbum II, but not anymore.

Smalls unveiled his side project, Brendon Smalls’ Galaktikon, earlier today. The project, whose record is described as “A High Stakes Intergalactic Extreme Rock album,” features Smalls on vocals and guitar, with DETHKLOK drummer (legendary metal drummer) Gene Hoglan (Dethklok, Strapping Young Lad, Testament, Fear Factory), DETHKLOK bassist Bryan Beller (Dethklok, Steve Vai, Mike Keneally band), and DETHKLOK engineer and mixer Ulrich Wild along for the ride.

“This album should be thought of as an audio comic book, an over acted chamber drama, a ridiculous premise that takes itself way too seriously all the way to the end,” states Small.

The album is scheduled to arrive in April. No exact date has been given, but a look at the cover at can be found after the jump. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
