Woe, Is Me Release DVD Teaser

Woe, Is Me have been chronicling their rise through the ranks of alternative music and soon will release their first band DVD. Today, we get a sneak peak at that release, along with some details on the reissue of their debut, Numbers.

Posted on Youtube a few days back, Woe, Is Me have unveiled plans to release a DVD alongside upcoming reissue of their Rise Records debut. The clip includes an introduction from the band, which includes mention of acoustic and remix tracks making the reissue, as well as a montage of live footage. You can view the preview for Woe, Is Me’s first DVD after the jump.

Considering Woe have been without frontman Tyler Carter since the fall, it does seem strange that the group is going the route of reissue for their next release. Is it just me, or would it make more sense to release an EP featuring the new vocalist instead?

The fact that they are coming out with a reissue baffles me. I don’t see why a record label would allow for that to happen. Sure, it’ll be cool to hear Hance on those tracks, but it would be a far better business move to out with a brand new album or EP. Not only would it be a better business move, but it would also please more fans.
