A trailer for Walter Salles’ upcoming adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s iconic novel On The Road has arrived online. One of the most hotly-anticipated movies of the year, it stars British actor Sam Riley as Sal Paradise and chronicles his travels throughout the U.S., including his encounters with Dean Moriarty (Garrett Hedlund) and the latter’s teenage bride Marylou (Kristen Stewart). The eclectic and impressive cast also includes the likes of Kirsten Dunst, Amy Adams, Elisabeth Moss, Steve Buscemi, and Viggo Mortensen. Both Salles (of The Motorcycle Diaries and Central Station fame) and executive producer Francis Ford Coppola have been working to bring an adaptation of the book to screens for some time and fans will be able to see the fruits of their labor when the film debuts in the autumn.
