The girl I love to hate is back with her new music video for “Part Of Me.”
Having seemingly run out of every gimmick imaginable, Perry uses her latest clip to throw slow pitch down the middle of Americans’ hearts with a tale of romance and military in “Part Of Me.” Perry plays a girl who, while emotionally crippled from a recent breakup, decides to join the marines and serve her country. Some will call it classy, others shameless, but I just laughed and laughed at the thought someone on her team had to pitch “okay, this time around, you’re a soldier!” and NOBODY else fought them. You can view the clip for “Part Of Me” after the jump.
Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection arrives next week after three months of promotion and a half dozen angry blog entries from yours truly. Will we review it? Probably not.
