Pop rock trio The Paper Melody have announced they are breaking up.

The band broke news of their split earlier today on their official Facebook. In a statement to fans, the band wrote:

Dearest Fans,

To our supporters from Day 1 all the way up to present, We want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We have had many great shows and experiences over the past few years and it’s all thanks to you guys!

But with deep sadness, we regretfully announce that this is the end of our Story.

We are very sorry to everyone and understand that this is horrible timing considering the recent release of our 3rd EP. But consider it our farewell as The Paper Melody.

Though this is the end our our road as TPM, it is not the end of our roads musically. Each member will most certainly continue to be a part of music in some way and would appreciate continued support.

We love you all very much!

To the Kickstarter Supporters:

We are still working hard to get your incentives packages put together and will be sent out very soon. You guys will be the ONLY recipients of Physical Copies of The Transparent EP (if your incentives package states that you will receive one).

Again we apologize deeply for any disappointment this will cause you all. We still love you all and we have done everything for and because of you. We will forever be greatful for that!

Thank you for the wonderful story!

Daniel Vallier

We wish all three members the absolute best in their future endeavors. The band may be gone, but the music will live on.
