Tyler Carter Discusses The Possibility Of Joining Isles & Glaciers, Working With Roy English, Solo EP

Tyler Carter is easily one of the most recognizable and discussed faces of the current alternative music scene. Since leaving Woe, Is Me last year Carter has found himself on his own for the first time and backed by a legion of dedicated fans who seem to never stop asking when the young artist will release new material. In an attempt to satisfy these consumers, as well as put an end to a few rumors, Carter opened up to Absolutepunk in a new interview. You can read an excerpt from the piece below:

People are saying there will be a lot of collaborations on your solo stuff. Kellin Quinn (Sleeping with Sirens) is a name that’s mentioned a lot – are you working with him or anyone else?

Me and Kellin were going to work on the Sleeping With Sirens EP, and things didn’t happen as planned, but we’re definitely gonna do something in the future though. He’s one of my best friends. It’s not happening yet, but there’s no doubt we’ll work together in the future. I did work with Musto on some stuff, and also Roy English – that’s Brandon Wronski from Eye Alaska; we did a song together that’s actually going to be released in a couple weeks as a free download. The song’s called “Staying Alive,” so look out for that.
