In light of Beastie Boy founding member Adam “MCA” Yauch’s death, countless artists have been reaching out in support of the group and the family and friends of the rapper. One of those bands is Coldplay who took it upon themselves to perform a Beastie Boy classic live at their concert at the Hollywood Bowl on May 4th, 2012.
“(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)” was revisited in 2011 and a video short was directed and written by Yaunch himself. You can view Coldplay’s performance inside as well as the “Revisted” video.
