MUSIC VIDEO: Explosions in the Sky – “Postcard From 1952”

Explosions in the Sky have released a new music video today for their song “Postcard from 1952,” which comes off of their album Take Care, Take Care, Take Care. The music video was shot and directed by Peter Simonite, a cinematographer on 2011’s Terrance Malick film The Tree of Life. The video is absolutely gorgeous, and the Huffington Post did a really great interview article with the band, which can be read here. Explosions in the Sky has always been known to evoke imagery in listeners heads, so it’s really interesting to see what the band and the director had in mind for the song.

You can check out the Texas Post-rock band’s video after the break, and let UTG know what you think!
