Marvel’s The Avengers claims the top spot at the box office this weekend, shattering previous records.
Comic book fans showed their true colors this weekend, coming out of their basements in droves to help The Avengers beat out Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 for the all time opening night profits record. The star studded superhero flick earned over two-hundred million dollars this weekend leaving all other movies in the dust. Needles to say, if you did not see The Avengers this weekend you are in the minority of moviegoers and will most likely feel left out at the water cooler (or cafeteria for our younger readers) this week.
