Looks like blues rockers The Black Keys have a documentary in the works. Director, photographer and friend of the band, Noah Abrams calls it “a buddy comedy with perhaps the greatest soundtrack of all time.”
Abrams has been alongside the band since January as they’ve been touring and will continue to collect footage until August. In a recent interview with SPIN, Abrams discussed the hilarity of what he has captured so far with the band; “I’m fortunate enough to know both these guys pretty well and their relationship is pretty incredible and very funny.” Abrams plans to have the film out in time for next year’s film festivals.
The Black Keys are currently on a ridiculously large tour of the world with nearly 50 stops including many festivals and support from Artic Monkeys on select dates. Check them out after the break!
