Swedish rock outfit The Hives have announced that they will be heading out on a five-date UK this December to support their upcoming release.
Tickets will go onsale Friday (May 18) at 9 am GMT so be sure to wake up in time. Their album Lex Hives is due to hit stores on June 5 through Disques Hives Records and we are anxious to hear more new material soon.
The band’s frontman Pelle Almqvist spoke to NME about their upcoming sound for these new songs and can be read below. Click through the jump to view all of the announced touring dates.
“There’s no formula, but it definitely sounds like The Hives. Every good band there is has a certain sound. There are a few songs that couldn’t have been on any of other Hives album, that are sort of a departure, but I’d say that kind of happened on the last time album too. But I’d also say that they couldn’t have been on any other album by anybody else either.”
