Multiple sources are reporting that Bee Gees Co-Founder Robin Gibb lost has died following a long battle with cancer. He was 62.
A spokesperson from Gibb released a statement on the family’s behalf. It reads:
The family of Robin Gibb, of the Bee Gees, announce with great sadness that Robin passed away today following his long battle with cancer and intestinal surgery. The family have asked that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time.”
Gibb’s contributions to pop music will outlive us all. The Bee Gees were the soundtrack to a generation and their hits still make people fall in love today. Join us in remembering Gibb’s legacy by click past the jump and enjoying one of the group’s biggest hits.
