Before Dance Gavin Dance, Jonny Craig fronted another band by the name of Ghost Runner On Third. Anyone who has become a fan of Craig since his time with Dance Gavin Dance has likely heard of this band, but you would be hard pressed to find anyone in possession of their material. Sure there are low quality rips floating around, possibly even a few ripped from CDs fan forgot they owned, but nothing substantial for the Craig enthusiasts that simply must know/have/see/experience everything Jonny has created. Today, that changes.

Hours ago, a former member of Ghost Runner On Third uploaded a music video the band made with Craig nearly a decade ago. The clip is filmed in the woods, and according to the description was shot “about 7 or 8 years ago.” You can view the video after the jump.

Jonny Craig recently announced he is in fact still a member of Dance Gavin Dance and will be joining the band on their Summer tour dates. Some may say “Never trust a junkie,” but with all the hype surrounding the DGD news and Jonny’s upcoming cover story in Alternative Press, I wouldn’t be surprised if Craig’s public drug issues soon become shelved next to memories of Chris Brown abusing Rihanna. As long as they can sing I guess, right?
