STREAM: Whitechapel – I, Dementia

Death chuggers Whitechapel have released a new track from their upcoming fourth studio release and it sounds like… well, it sounds like Whitechapel.

“I, Dementia” will be featured on the band’s self-titled effort which is due to drop on June 19 via Metal Blade. The track is undoubtedly heavy but doesn’t necessarily bring anything new to the table for Whitechapel fans.

Regarding the new song, guitarist Ben Savage had the following to say:

“I feel we all found our niche with ‘I, Dementia’. The slower pace allows for listeners to sink in and appreciate how all the elements flow together. The music and vocals play off each other in a way that appeals to different audiences. You don’t necessarily have to be a metal head to appreciate this song.”
