New York punk group Timeshares released an acoustic version of their song “Damn Near By Beer,” as well as a cover of Drive By Truckers’ song “The Deeper In.” These two songs were recorded as a part of The Switchboard Sessions, and they are a lot of fun to listen to. They have a very low-fi feel to them, but with punk music sometimes that makes for a very enjoyable listen. Timeshares also announced a short series of dates for this Summer, so that’s always a lot of fun to see bands who are still relatively new to the scene push themselves to see more cities.
