Let me introduce you to your new favorite band: Caust. Caust is a screamo group from the Northern Virgina area who have been tearing up the area with their high energy and intense live shows. The band is relatively new, however with their finely tuned songs and explosive live shows, you would think they’ve been playing for a few years now. The band announced today that they will be adventuring down the East Coast this Summer to share their sound with new audiences, and here at UTG we are really excited to see them getting out there and getting the exposure they deserve.
Caust is for fans of 90s Skramz, Code Orange Kids, and those who feel at home with groups such as Xerxes (who they just played with the other day) should definitely check out one of these dates. Caust right now has an EP titled Page Turner that you can download for free here, as well as a song on a compilation called interskramz Volume 2, which you can download here. Remember when you started listening to one of your favorite bands and you said to yourself, “Damn, I wish I was into these guys when they were smaller and playing in people’s basements?” Well, this is the band that you will be kicking yourself over in a year or two when they are huge.
You can check out the tour dates after the break, but make sure you let UTG know what you think of Caust and their sound.
