STREAM: Periphery – Scarlet

Well, ladies and djentleman, your favorite prog-metal band have released a new track from their upcoming full-length, Periphery II: This Time It’s Personal. The song is called “Scarlet” and if you’re a fan, you’ll probably dig it. I feel like I’m the only metal fan in the world that gets nothing from this band. The vocals kill me in the worst way, and as far as the style, I’d turn to Animals As Leaders or Beheading of A King before I took the Periphery route.

The new album featuring guest appearances from John Petrucci (Dream Theater), Guthrie Govan (The Aristocrats) and Wes Hauch (The Faceless) is set to release July 3 via Sumerian Records.

Check out “Scarlet” and the track listing for Periphery II after the break!
