Terrible Things Reveals New Lineup

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from Fred Mascherino of Terrible Things.

Months ago, Fred’s latest musical venture fell apart. As most “supergroups” go, the band lost 2 of it’s 3 members and then fell silent. First, Terrible Things lost guitarist and co/vocalist Andy Jackson to the newly re-formed Hot Rod Circuit. Then, drummer Josh Eppard was invited to rejoin Coheed and Cambria after their loss of Chris Pennie.

The loss of these musicians left a big question hanging in the air about the future of Terrible Things. In a YouTube update, Fred congratulated Josh on his second shot and informed his fans that he would continue writing Terrible Things music. We heard very little about the project, just that recording had begun. That is, until now.

Today Fred has announced two new members of Terrible Things. First up is Steve Curtiss on drums. Steve played in Fred’s last band The Color Fred. Next is newcomer  Aaron Van Allen who will be filling bass duties as well as providing backing vocals.

With a lineup set, Terrible Things will be hitting the road on a short headlining run this July with The Company We Keep. New music will follow. Dates can be found below.

July 11 Chameleon Club – Lancaster, PA w/ The Company We Keep
July 12 Mexical Live – Teaneck, NJ w/ The Company We Keep
July 14 Saint Vitus Bar – Brooklyn, NY w/ Brian Carley (Penfold)
