HOLY SH!T: Evan Glodell (Bellflower) Is Making A Film With Zombies!

Even Glodell (the genius behind Bellflower) is making a new movie, and it involves zombies!

For those scratching their heads, Bellflower is a critically acclaimed indie movie released last year, and if you have yet to see it make sure it is the next film on your watch list. Glodell is known for his creation of a unique camera used to shoot the film and the use of real working homemade flamethrowers that appear in the movie.

Not much is known about his new film, but the filmmaker recently posted this casting call on his Facebook page:

Do you want to get blown up? Currently accepting zombie applications for a shoot this friday night.
Shooting in Ventura so the closer you are the better.
Send info to contact@coatwolf.com if you want to be considered.
There is no pay, but we have a badass pyrotechnic guy who will be rigging you with explosive squibs, pointing a shotgun at you and making your chest into a bloody mess.
And you get to be in a mysterious experimental feature film.
If this sounds like fun and you are free friday night from roughly 6pm to midnight, send your info. You don’t have to be an actor, but you do have to be able to commit if we want to use you, as there are limited spaces(10) and we can’t invite a ton of extra people.
Rock and roll.

No other information on the film is currently available, but if it ends up being as half as good as Bellflower then you can expect to see it on our top ten film lists when it comes out. Here at UTG we are huge fans of Glodell and we will be sure to update you on the movie as more information is released.
