WEEKEND BOX OFFICE RESULTS: June 29 – July 1

Seth MacFarlane proves that a good comedy will always beat out shirtless dudes with Ted, which dominated the box office this weekend. The half animated bear half Marky Mark movie was the highest opening original rated R movie, probably because parents took their kids since, hey, it’s a bear that sounds like Peter Griffin. Magic Mike also did well, claiming the number two slot for the weekend. Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes To Camp Crystal Lake came in fourth overall, but still made a respectable amount of money. You can see the top ten list from the weekend and how much the movies made after the jump.
