We take time this day to remember the events that brought about our independence from the aliens that tried to invade in 1996.

When all hope was lost our saviors Captain Steven Hiller and David Levinson devised a plan to rid our world of the invading aliens, proving that the human race will always fight back, will always be clever, and will always survive.

We must also honor our fallen heroes like Russell Casse, who was willing to pay the ultimate price to ensure humanity’s survival. Without his and many others’ sacrifice our planet would not exist in the glory it does today.

So be sure to get out and enjoy life on this beautiful summer day because it is not just America’s Independence Day, it is also the world’s.
