Tyler, The Creator Releases Statement On Frank Ocean’s Sexuality

Tyler, The Creator’s name has come up quite a bit in the aftermath following Frank Ocean’s courageous act to open up about his sexuality. Tyler has been under fire, being labeled as a “homophobe”, along with some of Odd Future’s lyrics coming under scrutiny as well.

In order to clear up some of the things swirling around, Tyler released a short and to-the-point statement on his ‘formspring’ account, helping clear up some of the confusion about his thoughts on Ocean’s sexuality.

hahaha yeah, ive know for a while, he told me a long time ago. it was just funny cause i was getting bashed as a homophobe or whatever and i kept saying dude how am i one? i have gay friends like what the fuck leave me alone haha. yeah thats my nigga tho, shit is hard for him but he did that.

It’s great to see Tyler supporting Frank Ocean, just as we here at UTG do.
