Northern Virginia based hardcore-screamo act Caust just self released their debut EP Mass Graves (We Would Be Better Off), and it’s really great record from the band. Caust is still relatively new to the scene, but they’ve been making waves with their emotional live performances that have their fans going. This EP is raw, energetic, and is definitely something you want to listen to. You can hear a lot of different influences here, but it’s safe to say those who like bands such as Orchid, Touche Amore and other bands of this nature will feel right at home.
You can stream the EP after the break, but also make sure you check them out on their East Coast tour at the end of July. You’ll be so happy that you checked them out now, not later. Also the album is free, which is always a nice touch.
