The Starting Line Announce Ten Anniversary Tour

It seems like 2012 is the Fall of ten year anniversary tours. Pop-punk group The Starting Line recently reformed and have been teasing for a long while an announcement of sorts to drop today, and the news is that they will be doing a full US tour playing their pop-punk classic album Say It Like You Mean It in its entirety.

This means a lot of things to a lot of different people. For one, mid to late twenty somethings are going to feel like they are in high school again. Secondly, modern day pop-punk kids (who cling to bands like The Wonder Years as gospel) will get to see where a lot of the genre came from. Lasty, it means yet another tour that is going to burn a hole in people’s pockets. For those who don’t remember, Taking Back Sunday and New Found Glory also announced ten year anniversary tours (unofficially in interviews) that will be in support of their albums Tell All Your Friends and Sticks & Stones, respectively.

You can check out the dates after the break, but make sure you let UTG know which shows you will be hitting up! There’s also a song for all you young guns after the break that is one of my personal favorites off of the album.

Dec 8 – Detroit – St. Andrews Hall
Dec 9 – Chicago – House of Blues
Dec 15 – Pomona – Glass House
Dec 16 – West Hollywood – House of Blues
Dec 27 – Boston – Paradise Rock Club
Dec 28 – New York – Irving Plaza
Dec 29 – Sayreville – Starland Ballroom
Dec 30 – Philadelphia – Electric Factory
